Each instrument is made from a customized patch on the Prophet Rev2. Notes across 6 octaves were individually sampled then mapped and zoned within the DAW’s sampler. The amplifier envelope and velocity parameters (among other properties) are then fine-tuned to match the feel, touch and expression of the synthesizer patch.
The resulting instrument is an identical recreation of the analog synth patch - with the same warmth and tone, at a fraction of the price.
We recommend using a MIDI controller with a pitch bend and mod wheel to get the full expression of these instruments.

Can I use these sounds for commercial purposes?
Analog Tides sounds/samples are ROYALTY FREE.
When you purchase a license, you are granted the right to include the sounds in your commercially released compositions without any additional fees or royalties. However, please be aware that this license is non-transferable and cannot be shared or distributed in any way, either individually or as a group.
Please also note that if your order is refunded, this license will be revoked. Analog Tides is the owner and master licensee of all sounds sold on this site.
What synthesizers are you using to create these instruments?
As of right now, we are using the phenomenal Sequential Instruments Prophet Rev2 Analog Synthesizer for Analog Tides Vol. 1.
In the near future we will be releasing volumes for the iconic Yamaha DX7 and later the legendary Prophet 5.

How do I receive the digital download/products?
After purchasing one of the products, you will receive an email with a link to your download. The download will be a zip file containing all the folders and files you need to make some magical music.
Over time Analog Tides may update the products to expand compatibility (example - add sampler instruments that work with Logic Pro). You will not need to repurchase a product to get access to these updates. Once you acquire a license for a given product, you will have lifetime access to its updates.
What DAWs are compatible with your instruments?
As of right now, Analog Tides products only work with Ableton Live 10 or 11 (latest versions of each).
In case there is demand, products will be updated to accommodate other DAWs such as Logic Pro.
